QatarEnergy has entered into a long-term industrial services agreement with Altrad Babcock for Oil and Gas Services LLC, awarding a contract valued at QAR 324,166,943.30. The agreement was signed on November 1, 2025, and will run for a period of five years, ending on October 31, 2030.

The contract is focused on supporting critical refinery and chemical processing operations in Mesaieed, a key industrial zone that plays an essential role in Qatar’s downstream energy sector.

Maintenance and Technical Support Scope

Under the agreement, Altrad Babcock will deliver a wide range of maintenance and repair services designed to keep plant operations running smoothly. The scope also includes Management of Change (MOC) activities and Plant Change Requests (PCRs), ensuring that modifications to equipment and systems are managed safely and efficiently.

Work will cover valves, piping systems, and other essential plant assets across several major facilities, including:

• Refinery-2

• Condensate Refinery

• Residue Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (RFCC)

• Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU)

• Utilities and offsite infrastructure

• Storage tanks, berth facilities, and loading operations

These services are intended to reduce operational interruptions while improving the reliability of critical equipment.
