Description:
The project involves installing smart electricity meters equipped with cellular communication units to replace outdated meters that rely on 3G technology. This initiative is part of KAHRAMAA's national plan to implement the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system, which will integrate these smart meters with KAHRAMAA's monitoring and control framework using Siemens infrastructure. The goal is to ensure compliance with the Communications Regulatory Authority's (CRA) directive to phase out older communication technologies and facilitate remote meter reading capabilities
