- Kahramaa aims to establish a benchmarking scheme for energy consumption, water consumption and power intensity for existing buildings across various sectors in the state of Qatar. The goal of this initiative is to create and publish an ideal consumption and intensity benchmark for residential, commercial and governmental buildings. This will be achieved by studying and benchmarking existing buildings in the state of Qatar for definite seasonal timings (Summer & Winter). The final deliverable will be an ideal benchmark index in the form of a simulation case (available in KM website) that can be used by building owners to calculate their building ideal benchmark depending on their specific building information (occupancy, area, number of floors, working hours, etc.)
