Description:
This Tender is floated to cover the supply and lay of approx. 60 km length of D.I pipe work of 80mm to 600mm diameter as mainline extension from existing distribution network to newly developed areas. This contract covers supply and installation of: • DI pipe with related fittings from 80mm up to 600 mm diameter as extension main to serve customers in newly developed areas. • Provision of Service Connection using Copper pipes and (G.M) fittings for domestic 3/4" to 1½" and for bulk services connection of 2" dia. up to the customer-s property. • Reinstatement of roads /pavements damaged due to the above activities where necessary. (As per latest amendment to the reinstatement specifications and procedure as documented “code of practice and specification for Road openings in the Highway”-December 2014 or latest, issued by Ministry of Industry and Public Works, Civil Engineering Department, Highway Maintenance Section). • Horizontal Directional Drilling- When open trench excavation Road crossing is not permitted due to certain constraints, and where existing ducts are not available, pipe laying shall be undertaken by trench less method (Optional Item)
